This project, funded by Essex County Council and the RAD's Full Potential project, helps young deaf people grow to their full potential by providing information, support and learning opportunities for young deaf people aged 12 to 25, living in and around Colchester.

We provide a wide variety of activities and learning opportunities for the young deaf community.  Including one-to-one support and a mix of social and educational activities, such as dry-slope skiing, karting, First Aid and careers advice. 

The project currently has contact with over 60 young people, the majority of whom are profoundly deaf sign-language users.  To view the latest news and information about planned Young Deaf Club events, use the menu links on the left.
