RAD's Carers' Link Project aims to encourage parent's of D/deaf young people in Essex to recognise themselves as carers, to link them to appropriate services and to organise and support a group meeting.

Who is a carer?
A carer is someone who, without payment, provides help and support to a partner, child, relative, friend or neighbour, who could not manage without help. If you recognise yourself as a carer we can support you to assess established support for carers.

If you're a parent of a D/deaf child you can register with this RAD project so they can keep you informed of support available and your rights as a carer.
